ULOHA joins Hawaii Trail & Mountain Club (HTMC) on a weekly routine trail clearing day. This time we went up to North Shore to join in on clearing the Kaunala Trail. Both in the 4 mile loop section and 8 mile loop through East Kaunala where more work was needed to be done so that it is safe for hikers of all skill levels! A great day out with great people!

Cycling in Sudan can be tough, from the intense heat of the sun, the remote landscape, the lack of shade, the road conditions. But it can also be just as rewarding with beautiful expansive views with camels roaming the desert, unique history and great memories! The production of the video can be tough in Sudan especially in remote parts, My equipment died and so most of the video was shot on the iphone and edited on the computer with what little battery I had left. "Exploring the wonders of Madagascar" After three long years TDA is back in Madagascar! We landed in the capital, Antananarivo, also known as "Tana". It is a bustling city located up in the highlands of Madagascar and there is much to see as shops and markets line almost every corner. The streets are where things happen - people play games on the sidewalks and sports such as basketball, running, and field games are enjoyed throughout the city. We gathered supplies and set up final preparations before traveling by plane to our starting destination of Ifaty, located on the beautiful southeast coast of the country.
